Our railway heritage

Our railway heritage

Woking Homes was first opened in 1885 in Jeffrey's Road, Clapham as the London and South Western Railway Servants Orphanage. Through many changes, we have kept our association with the railway industry and still rely on its support

Our historyOur historyOur history

Today, we are a care home for the elderly, with the majority of our residents being retired railway people or their spouses. Our history

We also extend our care to a small number of people without a railway connection, and offer respite care to all
